Palestinians Trained in Historic and Cultural Preservation

Ambassadors Fund, PACE partner to protect Palestinian heritage in West Bank

In 1996, a group of Palestinians dedicated to preserving their cultural heritage banded together to form the Palestinian Association for Cultural Exchange (PACE). Over the years, PACE has earned a well-respected reputation by working with international organizations on more than 20 projects that highlight Palestine’s heritage.

For its latest project, PACE has partnered with the U.S. Department of State’s Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation to preserve and protect cultural antiquities in three West Bank villages: Aboud, Al-Jib and Beitin.
